UK Town of Culture 2028

Emersons Green is bidding to be the UK Town of Culture 2028

Emersons Green Town Council are leading the bid to become the UK Town of Culture for 2028.

As a small town with big ambitions, rooted in history, but still young, diverse and hungry for improvement, this competition entry is a driver of opportunity, pride and regeneration, using culture as a catalyst for community growth, wellbeing and economic benefit.

In celebration of our town’s culture and heritage, we have submitted a digital postcard to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). You can view our entry alongside others from across the country on the official UK Town of Culture Digital Map.

See our town’s digital postcard on the official competition map. Our Postcard submission celebrates our brilliant area, rich in green and culture, inviting others to come and visit and explore.
