🌿 Have Your Say on Local Community Spaces! 🌿

We want to hear from you!

We’re looking to hear from people across the local area about our youth and community spaces. This includes community centres, parks, and the places people spend time day to day.

If you’ve got a few minutes, your input would really help build a clearer picture of what people want and need from these spaces.

💬 Tell us:

• How you currently use local youth and community spaces

• What you like (or don’t like) about them

• What improvements you’d love to see

Your feedback will help shape the future of these spaces and ensure they work for everyone in the community.

👉 Take part by scanning the QR code on our poster or click the link below – it only takes a few minutes and is open to all ages!

📢 Please share this with friends, family, and neighbours so we can hear from as many people as possible – the more people we hear from, the more useful this will be!

Please note, any information you share will be held by Emersons Green Town Council for up to one year in accordance with data protection laws.

Meet the team!

Josh – ‘I began my journey in youth and community work as a teenage volunteer, getting involved in projects that made a real difference – helping to establish & staff a youth club, campaigning for and contributing to the creation of a local skate park, and working with youth voice groups across the South West to improve volunteering standards for young people. These experiences shaped my belief in the power of young people to drive positive change within their communities.
I’m passionate about championing youth voice and creating spaces where young people feel heard, valued, and empowered. Outside of my work, I enjoy music, gaming, animation, and all things creative, which often inspire the way I connect and engage with others.’

‘Hi, I’m Troy, one of the Lead Youth Workers at Emersons Green Town Council. I’m passionate about working with young people and trying to create opportunities where they can feel supported, included and have their voices heard. I’ve worked with children and young people since 2017 in a range of roles including holiday clubs both in the UK and US, sports coaching, teaching English abroad in Vietnam, and most recently as a primary school teacher.
Outside of work, I love sport and have played and coached many including football, rugby and tennis. I’m also a big music fan, enjoy DJing as a hobby, gaming, and love getting creative with arts and crafts. I’m excited to work with the local community to help bring ideas to life and make Emersons Green a great place for young people.’
