Rodway Common Circus 2026

Back to News & Events

The Town Council are happy to welcome back Paulo’s Circus to Rodway Common for the Easter holidays 2026.

Based on feedback from our survey and local resident concerns we’ve introduced the following improvements to ensure an even better experience for everyone involved including:

  • Better Communication: The Town Council will provide clearer and more timely updates to keep residents informed.
  • Shorter Duration: The circus stay has been reduced from 32 days last year to 23 days.
  • Limited Shows: A maximum of two shows per day will be scheduled.
  • Easter Sunday Adjustment: Only one show will take place on Easter Sunday.
  • Family-Friendly Entertainment: There will be no adult-only performances.
  • Alcohol-Free Event: We confirm that no alcohol will be sold on-site.
  • Car parking: We encourage visitors to walk to the circus wherever possible to help reduce congestion and keep the area safe for everyone. If you do need to drive, please park considerately and avoid blocking pavements, driveways, or access routes. Additional parking is available in the school grounds, which can be found here: https://what3words.com/dose.gates.editor
  • Community Meeting: A meeting took place on 17/02/2026 with the local PCSO team and Sth Glos Council representatives that gave residents an opportunity to share concerns.
