It’s a community event where local people open their doors to show the sustainable energy improvements they’ve made – like solar panels, insulation, or heat pumps.
The idea is to share what’s worked (or what hasn’t!), and give neighbours a sense of what these adaptations are actually like to live with – a bit like an open gardens day, but for energy-saving homes 
Funded and supported by Retrofit West, Green Open Homes Day is completely free, and everyone’s welcome.
