Despite the unpredictable weather, the community spirit shone brightly at Emersons Green Village Hall on 4th October for our Autumn Gathering. From 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, residents came together to celebrate the season with a wonderful mix of activities and entertainment.
The event featured a stunning (If I do say so myself) Chelsea-style garden walk-through, which was a highlight for many visitors.
Our Photography Competition, exhibition and prize-giving showcased incredible local talent, adding a creative touch to the day.
Families enjoyed live music from the Page Park Ukulele Club, delicious refreshments, and a vibrant plant and seed swap.
Children were kept busy and had fun in the dedicated play area and craft activities including bird box building, bulb planting and apple cider vinegar making.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved the weather to make this event such a success. Your enthusiasm and participation truly brought the community together and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you at future events and continuing to celebrate the wonderful spirit of Emersons Green.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers. From setting up the venue and managing activities to welcoming guests and ensuring everything ran smoothly, their hard work and enthusiasm were the backbone of the day. We are truly grateful for their time and effort in making this event such a success.
All of these events are part of our ongoing effort to support the Community Nature Reserve, a project that encourages local biodiversity and community involvement. If you’d like to learn more or sign up, visit emersonsgreen-tc.gov.uk/things-to-do/community-nature-reserve
