As winter approaches more people are thinking about their energy bills, do you know about the Home Upgrade Grant scheme, run by Severn Wye’s Warm and Well service, to help low-income, off-gas households in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire access free energy-efficiency home upgrades, to keep their energy bills down.
They are working on behalf of the Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire local authorities and have £6 million in government funding available. It is open to residents who:
- Don’t have mains gas central heating
- Own or privately rent a property with an EPC rating of D, E, F or G
- Have a total household income of under £31,000 per year
