The purpose of the App is, as per Avon and Somerset Constabularies priority of reducing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), to identify those areas where people feel most uncomfortable / unsafe walking (any time) in public. This could be Environmental (streetlights, lack of CCTV etc…) or Behavioural (Persons loitering / following, unwanted attention etc…).
